Today’s question comes from Jenna, who asks about something I know is on the minds of many Twin Flames out there – especially those with an Unawakened Runner Twin:

“Do more Reunions happen at a certain age or period of life?

 

Can doing something drastic in your own life – such as moving overseas, or deciding to get serious with someone else – ‘wake up’ your Twin Flame?”

Thank you for writing in Jenna! These are some very interesting questions, and important issues for so many Twins out there.

I’m asking spirit to answer with me today to give you as many deep insights as possible.

#1) Do More Reunions Happen At a Certain Age Or Period?

No, not significantly. Most often, Twins schedule ample time to “live under the illusion” as a regular human being – so most are fully grown up when they “wake up” to the connection.

The waves of Twins that have been triggered to Ascend in recent decades have nearly always been adults by the time they recognize the truth of the connection.

This is so that the Twins can experience the fullness of the human experience of separation and the polarity paradigms, in order to then “break these open” with their awakening and journey into Unconditional Love together. (Read more about the Twin Flame Mission here)

Awakening usually happens through a “dark night of the soul” followed by a spiritual awakening triggered by a significant event, or experiencing increasing synchronicities such as the 11:11 awakening code which causes the person to seek out significant information, or connecting with their (as yet Unawakened) Twin Flame in a way which triggers them to click back into their inner soul’s knowing.

As sexuality most often plays a key role in the Twin Flame connection, many awaken after Kundalini Triggering caused by a sexual interaction with their Twin – even if this has happened during the dream state.

Why Sexual Maturity Is A Common Key To The Twin Flame Journey

This is another reason why young adulthood is such a common time for Twin Flames to awaken, as this is the peak of sexual activity for human beings.

However, there is no “set age group”. Looking for these kinds of standard answers are in honesty trying to bring a spiritual journey into human limitation. Time as we perceive it doesn’t exist for souls. 

For Twin Flames and others who wake up to their Soul’s nature during life on earth, it’s all about energetic alignment. Being opened to the truth of the soul, moving past the human “reality” of perceived separation and limitation, and instead reaching a state of love and unity.

Some are born closer to this than others and journey quickly to unconditional love for one another, whereas some Twin Flames never reach this level of “illumination” due to their Free Will human choices.

#2) Can Doing Something Drastic In Your Life – Such As Moving Overseas or Getting Serious With Someone Else – “Wake Up” Your Twin Flame?

In some ways, yes. But there’s a huge caveat, so keep reading.

Yes, it can stir them to action – because they do feel your feelings to some degree even if they are “Unawakened”. BUT: any reaction you get will be coming from a fear polarity, and this fear will unfortunately really serve to create negativity in your connection.

If you want to move, move for your own sake because it makes you happy.

If you feel that your Twin connection is causing you unhappiness and that you’d be happier with someone else – choose that person from a place of love and happiness, not because you want your Twin to be jealously triggered to pursue you.

Following your own happiness and being true to your passions in life is “magnetic” to your Twin Flame. It activates very strongly your shared “soul song” – like an energetic clarion call they pick up on.

Because you as your true self is magnetic to your Twin Flame, as they are to you.

Why Being Happy Is A Miracle Worker For Your Journey

When we peel back the patterning of our human lives and discover our true soul’s gifts and passions and live our bliss, we return to the Twin Flame Soul Song – becoming irresistibly attractive to our counterpart.

In fact, from what I’ve experienced: being happy no matter what, spending time on your own passions and enjoying your journey, is incredibly powerful in drawing out harmony and unity in the Twin Flame connection.

Many Twins discover that when they decide to focus on their own happiness, the Twin connection “mysteriously” opens up more than it ever did when they were desperately focusing on it and worrying about it.

This is because they have raised their vibration and are now open to a higher “version” of the connection.

Switching On The Light From The Inside Out

If you wanted to be tough with your Twin, you could send the message to their higher self that you’ve had enough and unless something changes dramatically you will be choosing not to open up to them again as a person on earth.

This will do the same “trick” as what you mention.

With this ultimatum you might draw in new support, shifts, assistance in opening up the situation – but again, make sure you’re doing it from a place of self love and self respect. Set your foot down because you are choosing to prioritize your own happiness, not out of fear.

Your Twin Flame’s Ego self will feel your energetic intent to pull away unless something changes, and may also react by opening up when they feel afraid of losing you.

Opening Your Twin Connection With Their Free Will

Spirit shows us that by far the most effective way to “wake up” your Twin Flame is to interact with them on the soul planes and strengthening the bond between you from a place of happiness and love.

This is like switching the light on from the inside out for them.

What Determines When Someone Awakens?

Most Twins have a “scripted in” alignment set for their awakening. However, there is usually no guarantee that the person “heeds the call” and actually embraces this.

If you look back at your own journey, you’ll remember making the choice to open up to your newfound experiences. It wasn’t imposed on you completely. You yourself followed the path, opened the door so to speak.

Many Twins are afraid of opening up, of letting go of their earlier Ego identity and 3D worldview. This is why helping them clear old programming and energetic congestion can make such a big difference.!

It removes what has anchored them into that “old” reality, in a gentle way. So they themselves feel safe and good to open up to a new and higher reality and interaction with you.

Why You’re Never To “Blame”

Above all, please know you’ve not been doing anything “wrong”. Your Twin Flame isn’t staying asleep because they don’t love you or don’t want to be together.

Overwhelmingly, Twin Flames stay “unawakened” because they unconsciously fear letting go of the safety of their established 3D reality and identity.

You can help them shift out of this fear so they themselves are ready to open up the way you have. However, do know that you’re not to “blame” for them not waking up yet.

The fear they’re feeling is most often due to ancestral programming and early life experiences with being hurt when they opened up, it’s not because they don’t want to be with you.

By helping them elevate their energy vibration and cleanse out old fear and stagnation, you can help them awaken in a comfortable and safe way – from the “inside out”.
