Highlights this week include:

Venus makes a rare retrograde for the next 6 weeks, starting in Scorpio - and the Feminine Twin is pulled deep into unravelling what love really means...

Why are old themes returning? The Universe and your soul answer: They were never yours to begin with...

And, a deep inner test for the Masculine Twin reveals where he has unknowingly given his power away with authority figures, and caused friction in love as a result...

"Why Is This Still Here?"

We're in a tense period this week, and not only due to Venus Retrograde coming up at the weekend.

Several powerful oppositions are putting pressure on us individually and collectively, and you may already be feeling this.

Here's what it's doing: 
The first is the Sun in opposition to Neptune and Saturn in Aries, which can bring fogginess, fatigue, confusion and the return of old themes.

It could feel like:
"I thought was already done with this. Why is this still here?"

The answer is, it was probably not even YOURS to begin with.

That's the key and why it's showing up once more.

How To Recognize This...

Spirit shows us, it's likely ancestral content - you've been carrying it "for someone else".

And in the case of Neptune, it's even humanity's collective karmic content:

Themes of feeling abandoned by the Universe or the Divine, feeling unsupported...

And especially feeling unable to do what you're passionate about in life, feeling that you always have to sacrifice in some way.

⚡️👁 Aka "life is hard" and related, commonly experienced human patterns.

This is collective, historical baggage, and it doesn't actually belong to you deep down!

You Came Here To Break Through It

In truth, you came here as a soul to break through this content because it is ultimately a construct.

Spirit shows us that in receiving this message, codes are already switching on in your field — a recognition that can feel a little like relief.

But the baggage is very heavy, and the most important step is to cut the attachments to it. (Which is contracted).

This is the era in which we're meant to release karmic burdens that were never truthful to begin with, particularly with Neptune and Saturn now in Aries.

With Neptune, the content is deeply unconscious, and can make it difficult to move forward, take action, and to make progress on the passions you actually know you're here for.

Opting Out Of Collective Contracts

The quickest and best solution is to go in and cut the cords and end these collective contracts, on the energy and soul level.

You opted into them when you came here (voluntarily).

But now that you've recognized this message, and know it's not truthful to who you are as a being of energy... You can opt out!

The Deep Inner Test Going On With The Masculine 

The second major opposition, causing tension this week and next, is Mars opposite Pluto.

With Mars now in Leo, there can be a powerful sense of an outside force pushing back against you, particularly for the Masculine Twin.

It can feel like society, parental figures, bosses, even authority figures in general are somehow positioning themselves against you, making it difficult to move forward.

Pluto is trying to detox you, or your Masculine Twin, from anywhere you've given up your power, because that's really what's going on.

Don't Forget This!

The truth is that you're an infinite being. Nothing can hold you back, and no one has power over you unless you allow it.

The most important thing you can do is refuse to buy into these oppositions, and look at the deeper level behind the surface.

With Pluto in Aquarius, the authority figures and outside sources of power that provoke the most frustration — the ones that seem unfair, or seem to be holding you back — are highly likely to be tech authorities, AI, and big tech companies.

Nothing outside you has power over you unless you allow it.

That's the divine lesson at work here.

What Have You Been Taught About Love?

Venus remains in Scorpio, in deep transformation, and in a square to Pluto — Scorpio's own ruler — who is retrograde in Aquarius.

It shows that there's resistance to the transformation the Feminine Twin is going through... (Maybe you feel like "enough already!")

It's about to intensify further when Venus turns retrograde.

It may feel challenging, but it's an unveiling of the deeper truth of who the Feminine Twin really is, beyond the surface stories she's been told about who she is, and about love and relationships.

It's about going into the depths of the truth of love, into the core of the heartfelt emotion of love, stripping away all of the rules of what it has been presented to be.

Why You Feel Challenged By The Masculine Twin...

Venus is also in a square to Mars in Leo, so the Feminine Twin can feel very challenged by the Masculine Twin in this process.

It's part of the same lesson: she must go within and see where she's bought into false ideas of what love has to be.

For example: love equals marriage. That's a human construct. Love is love is love — it lives in the heart, and it's an energy that's always available to us.

Many deeply held constructs are being dismantled at this time.

Mercury enters Scorpio on Wednesday, intensifying this process.

We're going deep into the unconscious and beyond the surface...

If you pay attention to your dreams this coming month, you'll begin to recognize hidden connections at work in your Twin Flame bond that you may not have realized were there.

A Rare Review Of Love

At the weekend, Venus turns retrograde in Scorpio for the first time since April 2025.

It's a major event that we only see every 18 months or so, and this one continues through Scorpio - and back into Venus' own home sign Libra - until November 13th.

That's more than a month of undoing, re-evaluating, reviewing and recalibrating in love and relationships — especially on the deep unconscious level, and in matters of power and intimacy.

Chakra Calibrations

The sacral chakra will be stirred powerfully, as will the heart chakra.

My best advice is to engage with this voluntarily, and not to take things at face value during this time.

It's a healing and review process: the Universe and the planets are stirring hidden material to the surface so that you can heal and move forward from a higher level.

Mercury joins with his own retrograde on October 24th, so we have an intense period ahead. Your approach is the important part.

Love Is... Always There Deep Down?

As mentioned, Venus doesn't often go retrograde, and when she does, it signals that a period of karmic rebalancing within relationships is happening.

What people often forget, spirit points out, is that love is above all an ENERGY.

No one can withhold it from you, because as a soul and a being it is what you are made of.  

As a Twin Flame, it is the true core of your connection.

So many Twins misunderstand this, and begin to analyze and theorize around the surface behaviors and actions.

... When the truth is, the actual hows and whats of your journey so far actually make very little difference.

In essence, it doesn't matter what's come before or what we call it - when your energy shifts, your connection and your situation begin to shift too!

Libra Versus Scorpio Energy: The Deeper Choice

We're also in Libra season still, and it brings an unsettled, uncomfortable feeling...

The tension between Libra's desire for harmony, balance and diplomacy — everything pleasant and pretty on the surface, everyone happy — and Scorpio's desire for the truth of everything.

The Sun in Libra right now is like a person desperately maintaining a pretty veneer that no longer serves them or anyone else. (No shade to Libras in general😌💗)

The Universe is trying to shake a lot of us up, and get us to realize that deeper, authentic well-being and happiness matter more right now than how others see us.

Neptune's Cosmic Mirror

There's also a challenging mirroring at work.

With Neptune and Saturn in opposition to the Sun in Libra, you're being faced with potentially some false mirrors:

Distorted reflections of who others have perceived you to be. It can feel confusing.

And Mars in Leo opposite Pluto can turn reactive and disruptive, working against the pretty surface Libra wants to protect.

Keeping The Peace - But At Whose Expense?

Spirit's advice is to see this as an opportunity to check in and look for what's really important to you long term.

Maybe having harmony and peace in your life IS genuinely important to you.

But now you get to ask which areas really deserve that... and which areas of life, or which people, you've been keeping the peace with, at your own expense.

Whatever's happening right now, pay attention, and know that you're being given the opportunity to become more aware of what's been going on.

The Start Of A Cosmic Deep Dive

If you don't feel it yet, you soon will. Venus Retrograde in Scorpio doesn't mess around, especially when Pluto and Mars challenge her. 

It's fitting that we're headed into Halloween season...

Because this is the kind of retrograde where the planets will be seeking to drag out skeletons hidden in our closets, the unconscious fears, secrets, strange desires and things we have been trying to avoid looking at.

As with Halloween, there are treats involved though:

Reconnecting with true heart-felt love, the jewels of value that have been hidden or ignored in some way.

And it can involve a reignition of the Twin Flame bond - although things look more complicated in the short run.
